Irish daily rainfall data rescue 1846 to 1940

All the daily rainfall sheets have been scanned. We have a collaboration with Dr Conor Murphy, Geography Department, Maynooth University, Ireland. As part of a climate change course, third year undergraduate students learn about the importance of data rescue and earn credits by rescuing daily rainfall. In the last two years 2,900 years of daily rainfall have been rescued by this project. This data has been double entered to minimise data entry errors. There are appoximately 18400 daily rainfall sheets to be rescued
