Slovenia is a member of MEDARE (WMO) Initiative. It was also a member of the EUMETNET DARE program, which expired in 2018, but the activities of rescuing and recovering of the climate data in Slovenia proceed. Slovenian results of the project EUMETNET DARE are inventories of meteorological stations with long-term data sets (48 stations) and with possible long-term data sets (123 stations) and with meteorological stations, which archives are stored in foreign archives (approximately 150 stations). The lists have been published on the web site of EUMETNET DARE program (https://www.zamg.ac.at/dare/initiative). By the end of the year 2019 around 50 % of the data from the mentioned lists have been keyed but not imaged. Meteorological reports of 61 stations have been found in archives of Zentralanstalt für Meteorologie und Geodynamik ZAMG from Austro-Hungarian time, and reports from 70 stations have been found in archives of Istituto Superiore per la Protezione e la Ricerca Ambientale - ISPRA in Venice, from time of Italian Kingdom. All these reports are imaged but not keyed. The old meteorological records for Ljubljana from period 1818–1856 were discovered in imaged newspaper Laibacher Zeitung. They have been keyed already. We made also imaging of some documents and publications relating to metadata from our archive.
