Met Office Archives for Northern Ireland (held at PRONI)

Meteorological records in physical (paper) format created by the Met Office and relating to locations in Northern Ireland are held at the Public Records Office Northern Ireland. These cover all main meteorological elements and encompass autographic records and tabulated data in various forms inclding climatological returns and daily registers. Also includes records for some locations in the Republic of Ireland which were created prior to partition in 1921. Date range mid 19th Century to early 21st Century.
